The Undergrad and graduate Speech/Language Pathology and Audiology students from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln had a international travel opportunity in the spring of 2015. They traveled to Costa Rica to provide accent modification services to the employees of an international banking security software company.
The Students experienced immense opportunities for clinical growth by obtaining clinical hours needed for the completion of their masters degrees. In addition to providing services, students experienced typical Costa Rican life by dining and interacting with the locals of San Jose and traveling to the Monteverde region of Costa Rica.
Our club helped support their learning experience.
Thanks to Alicia Davis and Diane Farrand for a very interesting presentation
